TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would round things out when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
