Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background. They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it lands. What You PayThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.InfrastructureThe speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level. The FSRA QuestionHere is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there. That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision. The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.Deposit BonusTabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, more info is at Trade The Day.
